Coffee Shop

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Little School Coffee Shop in Barlborough. The coffee shop is open every Tuesday and Thursday morning and is run by a group of volunteers on behalf of the Civic Trust for the benefit of people of Barlborough. It is a great place to meet, relax and enjoy time by yourself or mixing with others. You can bring your knitting and sewing or any other crafts that you may be involved in and would like to share, or you can choose to research your family history, with the help of our volunteer Ann. Children are also welcome as we have toys and books to keep them entertained while Mum relaxes.image (2)

The coffee shop provides teas, coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks. You can enjoy grilled bacon butties, toasted Tcakes or if you prefer a nice piece of home made cake. Our prices are very reasonable and watch out for the ‘special’s board’. So come in and try us out at ‘The little School Coffee Shop’ in Barlborough, Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9am until 12noon. Hope to see you there.

Visitors were able to enjoy a piece of homemade cake with their cup of tea or coffee and helped to raise the wonderful sum of £157.00 for the charity. Everyone worked hard to make it an enjoyable event and were delighted with the money raised.
