Barlborough Civic Trust

Barlborough Civic Trust is a charitable organisation responsible for the running of the two public buildings, Barlborough Village Hall and the Little School. The organisation was formerly known as Barlborough Village Hall but when the charity took over the running of the Little School in 2006, the charity was renamed ‘Barlborough Civic Trust’.

The charity is run by a group of volunteers who work really hard to provide the facilities required by the user groups, as cost effectively as possible and for the benefit of the community. Everyone gives their time and expertise free of charge.

We remain one of the few Village Halls in the country that gets no ‘grant’ from the local council and are justifiably proud that we provide no burden on the tax payer. We rely solely on the income received from our user groups.
