The organisation was formerly known as Barlborough Village Hall but when the charity took over the running of the Little School in 2006, the charity was renamed \u2018Barlborough Civic Trust\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The charity is run by a group of volunteers who work really hard to provide the facilities required by the user groups, as cost effectively as possible and for the benefit of the community. Everyone gives their time and expertise free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We remain one of the few Village Halls in the country that gets no \u2018grant\u2019 from the local council and are justifiably proud that we provide no burden on the tax payer.
