Village Hall

Barlborough Village Hall was opened in October 1993 by Sir Reresby Sitwell and Dennis Skinner MP.

It was built with the collaboration of Barlborough Parish Council, Bolsover District Council, Derbyshire County Council and Waystones (the developers of the new estate). Barlborough Village Hall quickly established itself as one of the focal points of the village providing opportunities for people to attend classes, meetings and other forms of recreational and leisure activities. Barlborough Village Hall has disabled access, contains a meeting room, a main hall that holds up to 125 people and an adjoining kitchen.

It is an ideal location for engagements, weddings and christenings and is proving an increasingly popular venue for children’s parties. Rooms are available for hire by individuals, local groups, businesses or education providers.
